Thought is giving way to impressions, contexts are constantly shifting, and moving figures are dancing disinformation patterns on broadcast ground.
Personalities are more and more in disorder.
The Richmond Cultural Seminars attempts to provide insights into these profound cultural changes by creating and presenting short video explorations of such concepts as Love, Identity, Myth, Mystery, New Media, Narrative, Adultescence, Spirituality and Awareness, to name a few.
We show our videos in salons in Toronto where fellow explorers meet in a convivial atmosphere. Check our SHOWINGS page for upcoming events.
We also work in collaboration with other groups and institutions who share our desire to bring tools and ideas to the general public. We are pleased to have created Out of the Fishbowl: A McLuhanesque Look at New Media and Psychotherapy for the McLuhan Program of the University of Toronto.
You can see clips of our work and download free iPod versions on the VIDEOS page.
You may purchase a DVD by contacting us, and should you wish to associate with us in a new project, please contact us. We would be pleased to hear from you.
